KOFY TV Accepting Submissions For Local Bay Area Reality Show San Francisco, Calif. – July 25th, 2012 – KOFY TV20-Cable13 today announced production of The Big Dish, a local Bay Area reality cooking competition show launching October 2012. The Big Dish succeeds Dance Party, Carpool Showdown, Creepy KOFY Movie Time and B.Y.O.B. TV, all locally produced programs furthering KOFY’s commitment to bringing neighborhood flavor to Bay Area viewers!
The Big Dish, hosted by nationally known restaurant consultant and food expert Clark Wolf, will highlight 3 home cooks each week as they compete for the ultimate prize of their dish featured on a top Bay Area restaurants menu. The Big Dish is a blend of entertainment, education and fun! Host Clark Wolf will spice things up with his industry knowledge and weekly home cooking tips and tricks while introducing you to your neighborhood home cook. “We’re thrilled to add this exciting new local show to our programming line-up” said KOFY’s President and General Manager Craig Coane. “It’s consistent with our commitment to developing quality local entertainment based programming in a category that’s huge in the Bay Area”
KOFY TV is currently accepting submissions for The Big Dish at www.kofytv.com. Eligible contestants must meet the following criteria: Contestants must not be professional cooks. Recipes must be their own or a family recipe. Active cooking time for recipe must not exceed 45 minutes.
