San Francisco is getting its very own reality TV show, and it is about food! The Big Dish is now "calling all home cooks with an appetite for fame" to audition by submitting videos of themselves cooking a favorite dish. Competitors on the show will have the chance to win the seemingly impossible: their recipe featured on the menu of a prominent Bay Area restaurant. And it could be anything! Italian, American, Mexican, Indian, Thai, French, soups/salads, appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all fair game.
Veteran restaurant industry consultant (and Inside Scoop columnist), Clark Wolfhas signed on to host the show, which joins a quirky roster of local programs airing on KOFY, including Creepy KOFY Movie Time, Carpool Showdown, and the revival of the classic Dance Party. The Big Dish is set to air in October. The trailer for this madness is below.
