Santa Rosa Farmer's Market in New Location

The hills are alive… or is that the Wells…Fargo Center for the Performing Arts…with the sound of Farmers! 

Wonderful new home and gathering spot of the Original Santa Rosa Certified Farmers Market.  See you there Wed and Sat all year long! 

Ariel couldn’t be at the new Market location on its first day because she’s about to have that baby so Jeff’s keeping busy selling their lovely produce to happy folks. 

So nice to see greens surrounded by green at the new Original Santa Rosa Certified Farmers Market location at the Wells Fargo Center this past Saturday.  Such a wonderful new home for this lively band of stalwart farmers and their friends and fans. I plan to be there every Saturday I can!

 

Raymond’s Bakery was sold out in no time! At the new home of the Original Santa Rosa Certified Farmers Market.  And he sent along some of their delicious bread for the Guerneville School Garden Celebration.  Thank you!!

The Rosso Pizza stand at the new Original Santa Rosa Certified Farmers Market!  Yup, those are vineyards behind the happy cook….

Early Summer Farm Forum this Wednesday in Sebastopol

Early Summer Farm Forum: On Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Clark Wolf and Marcy Smothers present a farm forum at Forchetta/Bastoni (6948 Sebastopol Ave., Sebastopol).

The forum, one of an on-going series, explores the future of food and farming in Sonoma County. From all accounts, these forums are lively and animated, with a lot of audience participation.

Panelist include Barney Aldridge of The Barlow; Steve Sando of Rancho Gordo; Paula Downing of the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market and Sebastopol Farmers Market; Jemilah Nixon of Forchetta/Bastoni; Philip Coturri of Enterprise Vineyards; Bradley Christensen, an economic geographer; Roger Praplan of La Gare Restaurant; John Franchetti of Rosso and Joseph McIntyre of Ag Innovations Network.

Admission is a suggested donation of $15 (cash or check only), payable at the door.

Forchetta/Bastoni is located on the town plaza in Sebastopol, at 6948 Sebastopol Ave.
